The EuroBasket 2025 tournament took place from Wednesday, August 27, to Sunday, September 14. It began with the traditional group stage, which ran through Thursday, September 4, across four different venues chosen by the International Basketball Federation: Riga (Latvia), Limassol (Cyprus), Tampere (Finland), and Katowice (Poland).
Following the group stage, the medal elimination rounds were held exclusively in Riga (Latvia) over nine days, from Saturday, September 6, to Sunday, September 14. The Round of 16 took place on Saturday, September 6, and Sunday, September 7; the quarterfinals on Tuesday, September 9, and Wednesday, September 10; the semifinals on Friday, September 12; and the bronze medal game and final on Sunday, September 14.
**Teams**
For the sixth consecutive edition, the EuroBasket featured 24 national teams, which qualified through the windows for the second straight tournament: Germany, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Georgia, Great Britain, Greece, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Sweden, and Turkey.

Four groups made up the first phase, each with six teams, hosted in different cities.
